I’m Melissa, and while I mostly shoot solo, I’m fortunate to have an incredible team of photographers who join me when I need a second pair of hands. Together, we’re all about creating a seamless, enjoyable experience from start to finish.

People often ask me (Melissa) how I came up with the name ‘Left of The Middle.’ Well, I’m one of the lucky 10% who’s left-handed—yep, the one who smudged ink all through school and struggled with right-handed can openers! In photography, ‘left of the middle’ also refers to a creative choice we often make by placing subjects off-center to tell a more compelling visual story.

We photograph everything from weddings and portraits to landscapes, events, and just plain fun! Our passion lies in working with each client to create a one-of-a-kind session that’s perfectly tailored to your vision.
